PROFIT FROM MY MISFORTUNE, BUY MY CHEAP VEG

I bought some veg, put it in the car, ran it for 20l and decided it was fine. Bought 120l more of it (KTC) and got through about 2 tubs before the fuel pump decided to start leaking fuel out - I can't really afford to fix it at the moment so I've gone back to normal fuels which seems to have reduced the size of the patch left everywhere I stop. Turns out the slight drip I had before which I assumed was engine oil was actually the pump head seal, and now the extra pressure and whatever else veg does to seals has caused it to piss out.

 

 

So anyway, I could do with the cash to put normal diesel in, so does anyone want 60l of veg for £35? I'm in Rotherham but work near Staveley (j30/29a m1)

That is unfortunate, in my many years of running shonky old diesels on veg I've not had a pump leak.

I'm just 'doing the math' to see if it's viable or not!

 

*Edit: sadly, not so. I'd only save five litres or so by the time I'd got there/back.
