Just passed a propshaft strewn across fast lane of A1(M), north lane - just north of Ripon.

 

1/2 mile further on I see a lorry [bit of an antique...] on hard shoulder and a sad looking driver gazing back down the carriageway. Probably a connection [err...lack of!]

 

Just how dangerous do we reckon this 'length of pipe' is gunna be if some BLACK A#DI dizzler punts it aloft

Billy's right.  I once had a scaffolding pole slide off the back of a badly loaded wagon at me while riding a Triumph Street Triple down the A3 at 70.  It bounced over my head, luckily.

 

I suppose I could copy-and-paste this into the near-death thread, but I CBA.
