Norwich Classic Vehicle Club show 2013

I took my recently restored 1979 Volvo 343 to its first ever show today, the Norwich Classic Vehicle Club annual fun day. It was a very enjoyable show, here are a few pictures:

 

BHX all polished and back-to-blacked to within an inch of its life:

There were loads of Marinas and Itals there, this one being by far the smartest, and possibly my favourite car in the show:

I don't normally like sports cars or Japanese cars, but this Toyota ST2000 was lovely:

Nice mk1 Metro, shame it's an MG not a poverty spec with vinyl seats and no headrests, but can't have it all:

I know a few of those cars/owners and was thinking of going to this today but my wife had a 30th to go to last night and didn't get home until 3.30 which balled the day up a bit for us, shame as there was some nice stuff there by all accounts.

Bugger, I missed this. It's usually a good day out - I've taken cars along in the past when I've had something worth showing. I see the PT Cruiser mob were out in force again.

The little 500 had the great novelty of the key turning as it was moving ! Quite a nice day and even spotted my car in the pics

The Ambassador owner also owns a lovely 1972 Marina 1.8 automatic - that's what you call a BL fan !

Seems a good show this with lots of variety. Its the other side of the country for me so not something I could attend. Your Volvo looks very smart, thats a nice shade of red.
