I know they suffer their own (non-critical) faults like shrivelling door trims. 940 instruments are just as shit, mine needs a regular slap to kick the coolant temperature gauge back into life. It's not as bad as the Skoda I've bought though - all of the instruments were dead 99% of the time. A bit of solder has fixed it.
