1.5Tds are the absolute law. The 1.7s are less the law and more of like a regional bylaw.

A Sport or SRi not a bad bet either, my money is on both (esp. the GSi) being worth some fair coin in the coming years as so many were stolen and/or dry bummed for the engines and interiors etc.

Failing that you really ought to buy a very basic 3 door in that sort of peppermint green or horrible purple colour for the massive win.
