I have nothing if you want road legal..... but I do have a Sapphire that needs attention with a welding stick machine. It runs if it had the right fuel in and a charged battery. Last used on the road November 2008. No docs, as the Post Office and Doovla between them have fucked up somewhat.

Yes, the doors are shit. I have 4 the same colour to fit (require internals and door cards fitting)

How much are you looking for it bud? I know a dude who likes em and that looks well saveable.

It is well saveable, I just haven't felt the love for the last year or two. I know what they're fetching these days, but it's not really worth the £500 I see punted about the forums for valuations, because of the faults. I'd take £300 for it, and that comes with 6 white doors (One full set from one car, and two offsides from another car) It's all there, I used to drive it, but I haven't had it running for about 3 years (although it ran fine before I stopped using it, and yeah, I know, we've all heard that line before.) I guess it's worth that in parts alone, as Type 9 gearboxes are fetching near that alone. All the tyres are inflated, all WERE legal when I was driving it, some may have perishing marks in them by now. It's an 1800CVH, not the best engine, but frugal enough for daily use. It's a 1989 German shell, registered 1990. Inner wings still exist. I did rob a couple of bulbs out of it the other year, come to think of it...... I believe it to have been a hire car for the first year of it's life, it was then bought by the firm I work for, and sold on to a private owner, he kept it a year or two, part-exed it back in, then it went to Mexborough, and the chap had it for 12 or so years. I got it just before it was due to go on the scrap wagon! Everyone laughed at me. The doors are really well stashed in one of my sheds and a garage, and will take some getting out. Just before it was decommissioned, I put some ARB bushes and a column bush on it. It'll need the rears of the sills welding up (they all do at this age) I seem to think a CV boot too, and the interior is a bit scruffy where I've used it to store things in it. There's a VW badged Sony tape deck in it which apparently works... The interior is a sort of Blue Tweed affair, manual windows, Sunroof (tilts but sliding is out of the question until it's lubed I guess) and it has Central Locking... Well it's not perfect, but certainly worth a look. I was going to keep it absolutely boggo, but I reckon it's going to be a good base for a modified weapon of some description. I had a bloke offer me money for the gearbox alone a few months ago, but I didn't want to break it up... Oh, the interior mirror fell off the other day when I went to it.... not broken, just the sticky pad erm... isn't any more.

Thanks bud. I think thats sound for that money.......you see them for alot more even more so for white ones (OMG Cossie lookalike). I will be seeing him this week at some point. The reg is appropriate too as he like a beer or 3.lol.

I have the 940, and I'm in Wakefield.

2.3S Turbo manual (albeit only a 4speeder as 3rd has shit its synchro) T&T until end of either Sep or oct. It could use a couple of tyres, it NEEDS a set of front pads and Im not sure when the timing belt/water pump was last done.

Goes well enough, hugely practical and not as juicey as I was expecting (though my yardstick was the New Yorker!)

First £200 takes it.

The obvious choice for the discerning shiter would be a Corsa C 1.2.
