£300 is fair, if a little optimistic, for that - to get more you'd need to sort the minging rear arches, find a silver grille, and do something about the back seat.

Doesn't look well looked after so I'm sure there would be more pleasant* surprises.

 

However, if you were to spruce it up on the cheap, then stoodents tend to snap these up - because being a VW it's both 100% reliable and crash-proof for daddy's little princess. You might get closer to £500 if it looked less like it had been found in a lake.

You can expect the phone calls, you'll get them whatever you're selling, but i'm sure you'll be able to get your £300 back if the thing is capable of being driven away down the street.
