I'm just back from Orlando U S of A where I was attending the NADA conference (National Automobile Dealers Association). The place was friggin huge and had full workshops setup on stands to demonstrate the latest gear etc.

I took a few pictures when I was ther that you may (or may not) find interesting.

This is one lane of about 10 at the show. Frickin' Huge Dude etc.

Buzz Shite Year..

To Infiniti and Beyond!!

There seems very little shite over in Orlando and what there is, is mostly old Civics and stuff. This was the only interesting thing I spotted.

They like things "Big Ass'" over there and this F250 fits the bill. Is it bad that I like it?

This is the new Toyota Avalon Hybrid. I think it's a bit of a looker and had a really nice pearl paint job although the gold leather interior (yes that's right) was a bit off putting.

Another Truck, this time a Silverado. This company do custom trucks especially designed to go out into the wilderness and shoot ducks in the face (I think). The bonnet was almost up to my head.

This is a Lincoln Prototype. There's a bit of DB9 in that tail I think, I forgot to take a picture of the front because I'm a divvy but it was mostly chrome.

Fisker Karma. I've definetley never seen one of these out in the wild before. It looks mega I recon although it sat there for days so I can only presume the battery was flat.

If your going to drive and electric car it might as well look like this.

If you're going to drive an electric car, you should put this in it:

That Lincoln "prototype" (as you put it) is no such thing. It's the new production Lincoln MKZ, based on the new Ford Fusion/Mondeo.

Here's the front.....

And the inside......

Madman I only said it was a prototype as it said prototype in big letters on a sign on the otherside of the car. Possibly it was a prototype drive train or something. Maybe it runs on chip fat, who knows?

I have to say the design of the US stuff has came on massively in the last few years. Most of the Ford stuff especially looks great.

GTD, I barely even got time to scratch my arse never mind hire a car. Good job I didn't hire anything in advance. I didn't even get on a roller coaster FFS!

Seems to be a common look - as seen in the Chrysler 300
