http://www.mytyres.co.uk do a Continental road tyre in that size for just under £100 a corner, including delivery but fitting will be extra (they send them to a tyre fitter near you). I've used them before and it worked well.

If you want an off-road tyre you might have to go for a 215/70 instead, which gives a reasonable choice and should be close enough. In theory if you have wider tyres you should reduce the aspect ratio to maintain the same rolling diameter, otherwise your speedometer and odometer will be slightly off, but 215/70s should be near enough to make no difference. (I'm sure* the speedo is normally phenomenally accurate in an elderly Soviet farm vehicle  .)

The subject is on my mind too, as I need 205/70 15s for the Jag which are also unheard of in the usual tyre places. Turns out Longstone do them.

My Jag has the same problem - it uses 225/65 15 tyres, which can be a pain to get too.

Have you tried tyresunlimited.co.uk?

Does it have the original type steel wheels fitted or alloys? Standard tyre choice for these was 175/80 16, tyres which are widely available around the 60 to 90 quid mark.

It is has alloy wheels, the car was a drunken ebay purchase  these things happen :D

A big thanks for all the replies, lots of good advice :D

Cheers
