Can anyone recomend a good wheel courier ?

Morning all,i am looking at some 6 stud weller wheels on 'the bay' that are in Ellemere port that are 'local pick up only'..

As i am down in Kent i don't want to do that kind of drive for a set of old 'eight spokes'..

So what i am waffling on about is does anyone know of a good reliable (cheep) courier that they could recomend to do the job ??

Cheers . :)

i've got a sill panel that will need posting, i find that it fails on 'length' when I plug it into interparcel or whatever and they come up with a massive price, any tips?

Mr B - have you tried the post office?

My sister had a package that was "too large" for most courier type places, in the end she took it the post office and it was sent parcel farce.

Mr B. Parcels2Go or P4D are good bets.

I've shifted huge parcels all over Yurop at silly low prices.

Just send the sill through the Royal Mail, they sort things that are oddly shaped no problem.

Parcel2Go have consistently proven themselves to be reliable and economical.

I can't fault them at all (unlike Parcel Farce!).

I think I will just take it down the post office, I flipping hate couriers, they are all lying shitehawks in my experience

I book a lot of things through Parcel2Go, the Hermes parcel shop service is excellent if you don't want to wait around for a courier. I use this service where possible but for some lighter higher value items Parcelforce48 isn't much more expensive and is easier when I'm the Post Office every day anyway. I've had a very expensive set of wheels damaged by Parcelforce though so always make sure that they are carefully wrapped (these were sent directly to a customer by my supplier).

A lot of bad press gets directed towards Parcel2Go about failed collections which usually isn't down to them but the local courier for the company that you have booked the parcel with. It annoys me when people blame Parcel2Go - I know that if I book through Yodel the local Polish courier is only interested in delivering items and you have to run outside and collar him to get him to take things! Parcel2Go are very competitive on prices for sending overseas, Parcelforce packages for overseas destinations booked with Parcel2Go are at least half the price you would pay in the Post Office.

Thanks for the replys i went with Parcel2go who subbed it out to Citylink.

Shock horror it all went smoothly wheels picked up mid-day thursday and delivered 8.52 the next morning all for £18.55. :D

I now have a nice set of 15inch Weller 8 spokes to go on the Brat once i find some 195/50 tyres and redrill the hubs out to jap 6 stud flavour.
