Scirocco for sale - Altrincham

I've decided to part with my old MK2 Scirocco having realised that I'll never find the time to return it to the road, what with three Land Rovers taking up my time. Its a rock grey metallic GT 1.6 with a weber carb and some GMAX lowering springs fitted. The interior is tidy if a little musty. It has almost brand new tyres all round on VW steel wheels. Its been kept sorned and garaged for several years but has been evicted onto the field now and I'd rather it went to someone who could do something with it than just scrap it. Its situated near Manchester Airport and I'm after £200 or nearest offer. I'll throw in a spare engine (untested) for nothing.

 

I'll try and post some pictures once I've figured it out.

 

Forgot to add that last time I had it running about 6 months ago it would run but not idle. Almost certain the idle circuit on the Weber needs cleaning out (a common problem).
