So, the clear out is going well! I still have everything i started with, and more, and have had a wee bit of ebay greif too.

The volvo sold to some arse at the other end of the world with lots of false promise, and i have another local chap who seems hell bent on making the deal drag on for eternitiy. GR8!

 

so, this morning i decided to fire up the civic and drive the 15 miles to work, and wash it, and fire it down for an mot.

 

well, it failed. sticky brakes, no biggie. 2 front tyres, and a wheel bearing. So, this time next week i should have a nice clean civic with an mot to sell. Bring on the tw@s! cant wait!

I will add some pics of it looking nice for those of you at the other end of britain to ogle and "if only it was nearer" etc etc at.

Paid a visit to the costa del Kinkersaab at the weekend for a sniff round his shite. Have to say, If anyone is thinking of the trip up - it would be worth it - these cars are VERY clean. I had a good prod about the civic and R25. Civic is much cleaner looking in the metal than in the pics, very straight car indeed... and the R25 was also bloody hard to pick much fault with given its been sitting about off road. In fact its at the point now where if no one is going to bite on it then I'm going to buy it and wang an MOT on it then fire it on ebay rather than see it weighed.

 

I've got no need for it but it's way too nice a car to see get fragged.. but I'd literally just buy it, test it and 'bay it.

Ok. The rav and the Volvo are both sold and away. The BMW is verbally sold to an ex whisky smuggling w126 driving chap who I'm told stared in "banged up abroad"

The civic got 2 new tyres and a new wheel bearing today, brakes have been stripped and cleaned and a new handbrake cable should see it with a fresh ticket tomorrow. Any takers? Cortinadave is hopefully taking the Renault 25 as soon as he rids himself of the sludges Saab I sold him, although I'm sure he wouldn't object to ny other shitter buying it, he is just planning on testing it and ebaying it. Is guess its gonna owe me £750 or so now, that will include some new oil and a filter so it can be driven home.
