Nah, he wont be like that! He's happy with it! Got looking at a headunit and fascia with him yesterday. Plus he's leaving at the end of the month to go and work somewhere else on 80k a year, so I'm sure he'll piss more money up the wall on his next car. As long as the Almera lasts 2ish years in one way or another it'll do.

£80k a year! What line of work is that?

The Almera is a bit expensive, but he's not been completely raped either.

I helped my mum buy an 02 Honda Accord from a trader last year, it was £950, basically straight from trade in at a Honda dealer. Full Honda service history, matching newish Avons all round, 1 owner from new and 10 months T&T.

I wonder how much the trader paid for it, I don't think his margin was massive.

Could have bought a similar car for less money I suppose, but I could tell the Accord was a good'un.

If it's a nice tidy car that's got a good 4-5 years of life in it, £1695 isn't dear really.

I tell you what's dear: the used car place up the road from me with 06/56 plate 320d's up for £8995. You'd need your fucking head feeling to even consider that when you can buy matey's '05 Passat for 1500 quid. Fool/money=soon parted etc.
