Any Interest in a 2002 Punto 1.2 FSH 25k?

As mentioned on the News 24 thread, this is very cheap to run, reliable and ideal daily transport....but just too modern and sensible for my tastes so I thought I'd see if there's any interest here before throwing it open to the wider world of timewasters and idiots. This was my Granddad's car from new, which in true old giffer style meant it spent it's left driving to Morrisons and back once a week at 23 mph, and as such has a genuine 25k on the clock with every receipt from new (even the letter from the dealer congratulating him on his choice of automobile.)

It's the 1.2 8v Active so comes with PAS, central locking, electric windows and I'll refit the original radio before it goes. MOT is until 05 August (no advisories), tax 01 August and it's never let either him or me down. It's a genuinely great car that would make a cracking runabout/first car for someone. In theory it's ideal for me, but I miss those feels of not knowing if you will reach your destination, what that rattle is or the veil of dread that surround the MOT test. There's a couple of scratches on the driver's side that I only noticed today after going to the jetwash, but that's it as far as the bad points go.

£800 located in Plymouth. Would swap for something 80's or early 90's that isn't a VW

This is not a good reason to reject a punto - I have quite a few regular customers with these, they are every way an old fiat. You can be absolutely sure that even if it's fine now as soon as you NEED it to stay reliable it won't, and each MoT carries less and less chance of passing without a wallet raping.

Other than that, nice car, GLWTS
