More FSO Fun

Today Richieg and I are off to an Ex FSO Dealer to collect all of their stock, signs and anything else remotely associated with FSO cars. This is all thanks to Owain who visited the garage a couple of months back to releive them of their Subaru stock and put me in touch with them so we are extremely grateful to him for that .

I already brought a few boxes of bits home when I visited just before christmas, which included the folders seen in a previous post. I've now cleaned all of those and they are now in my big shed which has now been turned into the fso uk parts reception next to my workshop

I'll post some photos later of our fun day out.

Who knows? There may be a well preserved Polonaise or a 1500 gathering dust at the back of a workshop (wishful thinking I know).

I've managed to put most of the parts away now. I'll do a proper stock check in the week. Some great stuff in the haul anyway.

Bloody hell! Some of that stuff must be uber rare in this country. Top shite-ing.

Some of the stuff we do try to save is the Right Hand Drive unique parts such as steering boxes and idlers and pedal boxes and headlights etc. Other stuff if needs be we can get from poland but obviously is much cheaper (if we have to pay carraige) and more convenient to source the parts over here. We also have another parts haul from an ex dealer in the pipeline at the moment but I don't want to put the kiss of death on it by saying too much at the moment. Obviously we'll keep you posted
