One ton block and tackle for sale!

Fancy pulling your roof down while removing an engine from some rusty old heap?

You do!!

Then this is the thing for you.

A genuine 1950s-60s block and tackle, as seen attached to beams and girders and sheerlegs in as diverse places as garages, sheds, workshops and even on television. Yes, buy your own TV star block and tackle - as seen once for a nanosecond on a clip that hit the cutting room floor on Heartbeat!

This marvelous piece of kit has many uses. Save yourself waiting for concrete to set and simply attach this block and tackle to the ankles of people you do not like and then simply throw them off the end of the pier. Alternatively, leave it outside the back door and simply watch it disappear one day when the local scrap metal recyclers* (*other names are available) give themselves a bad back trying to lift it into their shed of an ex-Post Office LDV van.

Yours for a tenner, mate, can't say fairer than that, guv'nor, hold out yer 'aaaand, etc!

Cash and carry only - unless you are close to the road between Gloucester and Wickham in Hampshite between Christmas and New Year, in which case, we can meet up in some dodgy layby, where I will relieve you of all your cash, your wallet, your mobile phone and dump this excellent piece of British engineering on your toes as I run away from you.

More bargainous shite to follow:

Including a MiG welder - as used by the Russian air force to build their aircraft (maybe that is a lie)!

1930s Bosch car horn, as fitted to a Mercedes 540K - someone decided to start collecting the parts to build a 540K and the horn is as far as they got!

it's an Alko Kober Mig Mag 105 - boxed, should work - and will test it this weekend, but hasn't been used for ages, gas and gasless. IIRC there's an almost new drum of wire with it.

Want it gone rather than lots of money for it. Can send by courier for cost and ten beer tokens but won't advertise properly until it is checked over and known to be working.

Hi

Im in Gloucester visiting parentals over the weekend and can collect the block and tackle. Whereabouts are you? Should keep the rear of my Micra close to the ground on the way back to Altrincham.

Will give me an excuse to make a lifting frame.

Cheers Ed
