They're Mk2s, not Mk11s.

no such thing as a mk11, he means mk one one = mk2 which is how they are often written

 

The few mk10's seemed to be useless for bangering, wheelbase was too long and once they stepped out they just went anywhere but straight sad to see such races but they were just an old car at the time, no different to bangering a nissan primera nowadays.

At least it was racing of sorts, I watched a couple of 2012 ones in the suggestions list and they just looked like "blokes smashing cars up in order to injure or kill each other" under the guise of racing.
