Mr Weasel and I seemed to have upset someone on the Retrorides for sale board[see Pontiac Starchief thread] I thought the whole idea of having a seperate for sale board was to sell stuff on....or am I missing something here.............

A shame we can't seem to view things like this on this forum....http://retrorides.proboards86.com/index.cgi?action=members&view=allit would be interesting to make things transparent & see just exactly who is on here; e.g. who is new, who is old but only lurks, who is on here from other forums, how many members with similar names, never forget anyone that was on here or that you spoke to at some point because you would find them in the list like a phone directory......all sorts of things you can find out by having all the members listed in front of you! Plus you can easily see their contact details / email addresses, website addresses & even their interests if they've put any. At the moment you can only do that if you click on the member's name to bring up their profile when they're on the screen in front of you. Which is fine when you think to do it at the time.Edit: Why are there multiple Bo11ox's on RR, are the extra one(s) pseudonyms or are they purely coincidental?

Interesting how Retro Rides has got 184 pages of members and we've got 428, considering RR is a much busier forum! Must be all those spammers & dormant accounts we've got!

I subscibe to a few forums and this is the only one that hasn't deginerated into the "People's Front of Judea" in fighting.........N.S.R.A is the most anal of the lot, but some of the others run it pretty close..........

With that user list sorted by post count I'm only on page 2. I need to be more of a post whore Do the moderators ever prune the user list? I know there are a few lurkers who don't post but check in but there must be loads who registered once and haven't been back for years? Autoshite is a very exclusive club

I think what he means is - its the same accross the phpBB forums of the world, eg BXC = http://bxclub.co.uk/forum/memberlist.php - just substitute BXClub.co.uk with autoshite.com etc etc etc.

Ok so you're saying you can get to the member list of any forum simply by adding forum/memberlist.php on the end of the url, fine I can do that......but it assumes people know to do that. On Retro Rides there's actually a button called 'Members' which is what we seem to be missing here!
