£550 seems too cheap, yet £5500 sounds way over the top. £1550 sounds about right.

Is it really that much of a bargain? it's been of the road a number of years and has been messed around with a bit, with no mot or tax i wouldn't want to be spending me more on it.

There are still some cheap ones about, I'd suggest that was genuine. If I had the money I'd snaffle up all the cheapies and lob them in a barn for a few years as they are sleeping giants in the money stakes.

The price seems quite cheap, but not an outrageous bargain, as said, its been off the road a couple of years so no T&T & will likely need work.

I posted one the other day in the tat thread with short T&T for not much more than this.

They do go for about that much TBH. They are cars that people put up for loads but cant sell them. IMO, you are looking for about £1,200 for a decent one and up to £2k for a belter.

 

I keep looking at them as I do like them. My mate has one which I sometimes use and I was going to buy off him as my daily. May still do so depending on my plans for the Audi Coupe in the long run.
