OMFG!! A BMW you'd actually want to be seen in!!

Also seen in town a few days ago. When this was new, it was the price of a house. To own this car, you'd need to be a Man of means. A Man of impeccable taste and not some tattooed scrote. A man who only smokes Peter Stuyvesant, Dunhill or Marlboro cigarrettes. A Man who lays down fourteen grand with the grace and style of a Cashmere dressing gown.

Mind you, Derek Hatton also had one.

The 633CSi Automatic, Gentlemen. Guaranteed barebacking for as long as you own it - or your money back.

Personally I wouldn't want to be seen in it.....perhaps a late fifties BMW might be nice though.

Well, a Man's got to know his limitations. :D

OMG tasty to be true, but the colour does remind me (for some reason  ) of a quilted dressing gown.....Or is it housecoat? Whatever.... Anyway my Aunt wore one much the same colour when I was a kid. She was a bit of a scrubba tbh....

Rambling, car looks sweet!

I think it's Cypress green. They only did it for a couple of years and replaced it with the more silvery Reseda green. It really was a minter and it just reminds me of when B.M.W really was prestige. About 30 years ago.

Certainly a nice looking thing, unlike my aunt, who wasn't....

BMW used to make Great cars, like Mercedes. Sadly no more. They just make cars.

And millions of them. I actually like new Mercs though. A mate has the new C250 Coupe and it's a very nice indeed. New BMW's are about as alluring a a CoOp microwave curry although the 5 Series is lovely. But there was a time when everything in their range was nice.

I was always perfectly happy being seen in any pre-Bangle BMW.....

They're very nice, but not in 'first piss in the morning' yellow if you don't mind.

That's very nice, I'm fancying a BMW 5-Series E28 myself at the moment as a everyday driver.

He has parked like a bit of a cunt, mind.

Car's not bad.

Absolutely beautiful, I could look at that for hours, fantastic colour as well. As for modern BMW's being shit and driven by wankers, OK theres a lot of wankers driving BMW's but thats because theres a lot of wankers in general. If you have driven a modern BMW or even closely inspected one you will see that they are beautifully engineered and the company is pretty admirable all round I reckon.

Yes, they're superbly engineered and very good - in no way are they shit although there have been more reliability issues than there should be. Also, I find virtually all drivers of such cars to be absolutely fine. But for me, the appeal of the badge has worn a bit thin because they're just everywhere now. When this one was new, you were lucky to see another one the same week.

I do like the current 5 and 6 Series though. A 640i SE (I don't do M Sport or diesel) in that darkish metallic red is on the lottery win list, along with a C63 AMG Estate.
