I would say I woned one and it was great, but I only drove it twice before the alternator went and I lost interest. Anyway looks likea nice car, GLWTS, I'd have it if I was closer to the room on my drive way and I could afford the distance etc etc

Nothing is selling at the moment, I've been trying for over 6 weeks now and not one serious buyer :(

Hey, if you are weighing it in I will give you the £200 you will get for it. Let me know.

£200? Would you get that for weighing it in? I only got £220 for the Volvo S70!

Okay, I will happily give whatever the current bridge money is for one of these to save it from the crusher. :D

Not that I need another car but hell, its too nice to crush isn't it.

It won't make £200 over the scales at the moment, scrap is down and there's even less interest (from metal dealers) for something too old to have a cat and with no alloy wheels.

I've got £250 sitting here for it as well if it is as clean as it looks. Only down the road in Crewe as well and something a bit cheaper to run around town than the Bluebird might be useful at the moment with fuel back up to £1.40 litre.

A friend has a empty Garage until the end of october so I can store Cato there for now just to take the pressure off ,Would a fellow Shitter be willing to make me an offer around £450 ?

PM ME

Thanks

To be honest, its not a lot of money at all;if its been kept up to date on its servicing and looked after, there's not reason why it couldn't be a decent daily driver which would last ages. At £450,if it only lasted a year, thats not even a tenner a week,so its pretty much running on fresh air motoring ! The fact is it will most likely last several years, and won't lose anyone a fortune.I hope it does find a good home, and gives its new owner some joy.

If it doesn't sell, and you can afford the space it takes up,hang on to it if you can

What was the outcome with this? Just had a look at the photos and it looks in excellent condition. I would hate to see it weighed in. Just my thing but I have 5 cars already
