Thornes Park V.12 -- Something for Everyone...

After a 3week wait due to bad weather on the date originally planned, I wasn't sure what to expect yesterday.

It was slightly less rammed than usual, but the quality of the cars on show, and the spread of interest really makes it a show I look forward to every year.

So it started, like alot of my recent stories, here:

Morrisoxide and his freshly lowered and de-roofracked traveller

We had a bimble through the town down to the park, parked up and spent a bit of time chatting and drinking tea before I started taking pictures

Ive been taking pics of this Dodge for years, at shows all over Yorkshire. Still love it, and the fact the only restoration work its had is having the seat recovered...

No matter. I will need to keep my eye out for shows a bit better really.

So its got a 1.6 diesel engine in it? WTF? Looks like it was imported in '98. Wonder if that was with or without the engine conversion.

That looks like a fairly standard Porsche 912 flat four 1600 (link below to someone else's FlickR photos) so I'm assuming heavy oil is a DVLA mistake (surprise !)
