PICS PICS PICS PICS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I only took 2 photos of actual cars. What an utterly miserable day

Nice to see the fellow Shiters though, however briefly.

I'll be there!

Passed you on the A47 today Dicky, car looks ace.

Here's the few pictures I managed to take:

Nice bronze Aggro estate

DSCF8625.jpg

Wonderfully shonky Marina hatchback - this was there last year, but the back end was buried in a tree so the full glory of the conversion wasn't so readily visible. It also looked even rustier this year than last.

DSCF8626.jpg

DSCF8627.jpg

DSCF8628.jpg

A trio of very '70s colours.

DSCF8629.jpg

This looked familiar. Sounded rather tappety for a C-plater - I have to say I'd struggle to value it at £1300.

DSCF8630.jpg

Nice threepenny bit lorry in the autojumble section. I could have had one of these for £400 about five years ago, but didn't go for it as I didn't have enough space at the time. Still kicking myself about that one.

DSCF8631.jpg

This was a 1.5 automatic, and looked in pretty good nick bar a small dent under one of the rear lights. I'd be happy to trundle around in it anyway.

DSCF8632.jpg

Very tidy Uno - not particularly classic and definitely not BL, but nice to see it there anyway...

DSCF8633.jpg

And that's all I managed to take before rain stopped play and I took refuge in the back seat of Garycox' Maestro.

Shame about the weather, and I hardly took any photos. The few I have are below. But seeing as I enjoy this show so much I decided to stay and the weather brightened up a bit, for about 20 minutes....I was the last to leave from the Metro stand :)

Captain Slow (Sam Skelton's) Montego and rather nice very low mileage Maestro

Angry Dicky on his way home, who is actually more Affable Dicky in real life :)

Rob, was it you who went past me on the A421?

That's some impressive tunnel vision overtaking a brown allegro on an empty road and not noticing the driver waving at you like a loony !

There was another beige Metro there yesterday, so i reckon it was him. I'm sure I would have noticed a brown Allegro :D If it was me Steve, you would have been overtaking me as I drive like a grandad! I took it slow on the way back as the weather was piss.

Hehe, I didn't think it was you. I'd never seen a 998cc metro shift that fast before!

I managed to pick up a period Austin rover branded short sleeved shirt and tie. Perfect for playing dress up as a 1980s car dealer sex games with the mrs.

Excellent snaps of what looked like a very wet day. I need to get myself parked up next to the Metro so I can see what colour the Princess should be, I'm sure she's the wrong shade by a country mile.
