Big shite - 1995 Jeep Grand Cherokee

Dunno if anyone on here likes these things but thought id throw it open to you guys anyway.

 

My dads N reg Jeep Grand Cherokee failed the MOT on some welding and ball joints and a couple of other things. Think he's going to scrap it as ive offered him the use of my van if he needs that instead. Does anyone want first refusal on it before he sees what he can get weighing it in? Cars located in Wrexham, North Wales. Its a dark blue 4 litre petrol auto. Ill find out more details tomorrow. If anyone is interested, let me know.

Speaking of Grand Cherokees, how difficult is it to fix the rear diffs? There's a cheap one in the Scot Ads with a whiny rear differential.

I've helped fix a Land Rover halfshaft before, that's all the diff' removal experience I've had.

Its easier to swap out the whole rear axle assy. Setting the pinion preload is a bit difficult unless you have done it before.
