Final confirmation that DVLA regional offices to close, with 450 (!!) jobs being created in Swansea - what on earth do they all do?

 

But Honest John (so must be true) finds more positive spin, more Doovla services going online apparently, might mean they stop losing paperwork?

Why didn't they just save a few jobs by keeping the f*cking offices open? The market for disabled registered used cars is going to suffer here I reckon, already it's a PITA to get them changed over, having to send all the shit to Swansea won't make it any better.

Not looking forward to this; the Edinburgh LO staff, have always been far and away more helpful than Swansea.

And with the 'net being a great way to make things even more faceless, I'm betting they'll do what they please, 'cos it'll be easier to get away with.

And if I have to actually ask a person a question, it takes me 20 minutes to get to the Edinburgh LO, on a couple of quid of petrol. Can't see a phonecall to Swansea being either that cheap or quick. Halleluia...happy days.

If the DVLA are short of cash why won't they just chuck another batch of SORN declarations in the bin and then fine the owners for not sending them in?
