School bike sale (or swap): TR7.

Yeah, yeah, not had it long, however it was NOT bought to make a profit on and will be for sale at what it cost me.

1977 Triumph TR7 in Autoshite gold and brown.

Short MOT (end of the month at most I think) and taxed until end of July.

Drives ace, really great fun but more probably greater fun for someone who isn't 6 foot two-ish, seventeen stone and with a bad back.

It's had a fair bit of work done before I got it, I think wheelbearings and engine tuning amongst other things. Currently it's thought to need an exhaust (or part thereof) and the seat back needs welding, though it's driveable 'as is', driver's window regulator and probably some other bits and bats too. As said it drives ace, the pop up headlights work and it's just a wedge shaped piece of Scouse fun on funy coloured Dolly Sprint wheels. It's an earlier one so has the 4 speed box, which would be GR10 to keep as they're rare now and it should be kept as it was made imho.

I don't want to see this banger raced, stripped for parts or bought just to knock on instantly for a few quid and the best thing would be if a regular on here wanted it. I can possibly be flexible on payment times if you're one of the regular gang, pm me if needed, and if it's collected shortly you can drive away 'legally' if you have insurance.

I must just repeat (even though I'm sure no-one on here would) it's NOT for banger racing, it's for use/doing up only.

Obv. any inspection at Cavcraft is more than welcomed and I'd consider delivery within about 50 miles for fuel, bacon butty and train ride home but I don't always have much time to spare.

Happy to swap for something less cramped, ideally another BL-mobile but open to suggestion. Except a Mondeo of course. Pretty much anything with four or two wheels would be of interest

Price? Hate to do this but pm me, I'm not hiding anything and Sam (Red5) will confirm what I paid him for it.

*Oh, have found a bloke selling a stainless exhaust for £50 and will pass his details onto buyer if wanted.

I have a lot of want for this car, but I'd have to exchange the Princess to get it, which I'm not really prepared to do. I'm certainly not suggesting it to my brother, because lately he's been a wanker with cars.
