I thought you had to get some other (expensive) gas that was compatible rather than R134A..? Good news if it true of course.

Aircon geezer told me that 134 will work fine in an R12 system but will need topping up every couple of years as it'll seep past the seals in an R12 system as 134 has smaller molecules or summat. Have to change the ports to put 134 in, as someone said.
