cars and coffee , galway and limerick .

hi all myself and mark mex decided ( at the last minute ) to head down to a " cars and coffee " gathering organised by damien murphy to kick off his " drive for down syndrome ireland run" ,

 

when we arrived in galway there was a nice turn out of vehicles and the weather was good wich was a big help ,

 

anyway we got wind of another meet happening in limerick and we decided to blow her down for the crack ,

 

anyway 330 miles and € 100 of juice later i made the round trip in the granada ,

 

have to say i thoroughly enjoyed it and met a great bunch of lads down there with some fantastic cars to boot ,

 

all i can say is roll on the next one !!!,

In the south, the font has to be a specified height. They forgot to specify what font though...

 

And you need to have the name of the county the car was registered in (in Irish )at the top of the plate too or it's an NCT fail.

 

I like a nice simple stamped metal plate myself.

 

Dunno about the north. The regs would be the same as "the mainland" so any newly made plates should be Charles Wright font?

they dont mind plate wise as long as its not too small - not as infested with scameras and anpr yet
