Unmolested 1999 MK4 Astra SRi 2.0 3dr in Flame Red with Irmscher Kit - 1 Owner + Comprehensive Service History

 

1 Lady Owner from new. Always garaged and well looked after. Full and Comprehensive Service History inc Original Purchase Invoice. I even have the original unused dealer supplied cleaning kit and first aid kit, the spare wheel has never been used. It still has the original main dealer number plates on it. NO MODIFICATIONS WHATSOEVER.

 

All usual SRi features plus optional 6 Disc CD, Aircon, Sunroof, CD holder, Factory Fitted Irmscher Bodykit Kit (Front Spoiler, Sideskirts, Rear Skirt) and Exhaust. It really looks the part and I get a lot of positive feedback about the car.

 

Spec includes E/W, ABS, Aircon (blows cold still), Sunroof, Sports Seats, White Dials, Audio Controls on Steering Wheel, Traction Control, Fog Lights, Remote Locking. Alarm and Immobiliser, Driver and Passenger Airbags, PAS

 

It drives without fault, it has passed virtually all it's MOTs inc the last one with no advisories. MOT'd until Feb 2013. Recently Serviced - Service History is all Main Dealer apart from the last few years of ownership.

 

16" Alloys with Michelin Premacy HP tyres all round with good tread.

Now the not so good bits:

Rear Arches could do with some minor TLC, hardly detracts from the overall condition.

Average miles approx 118K - I am using the car at the moment to drive to work so mileage will alter slightly.

Usual wear on the pedals and steering wheel etc.

Paint is a bit flat in places it's certainly not pink by any means. Usual stone chips given the mileage. Please don't expect a concours example, you'll struggle to find another 1 owner SRi with such a comprehensive history.

 

Emigration and new LHD car forces sale. Priced to sell - first to see will buy. If I had the space to keep it I would, it's a lot cheaper to run than any of my fast fords although given that I sell NOS Genuine Ford Parts for a living it's not good to be seen driving a Vauxhall!

Open to negotiation for a quick sale - I begrudge selling it but I simply don't have the space for it at the moment. I'd rather sell it via the forums than have to deal with numerous idiots on ebay and via Autotrader which is what will happen if it is not gone soon.

I thought the number plate seemed familiar - I have seen this in the Bury St. Edmunds area before it moved away and it was in good nick then so I can vouch for it's cleanliness.

greengartside - interesting to hear that you recognise the car. I thought these were quite rare cars but I have found that they are slightly more common than I first thought, it's the one's that haven't had lexus lights fitted and the brake calipers painted that are hard to find.
