Absolutely nothing on Ebay France either. They must be almost extinct now. :( Used to see millions of then in France in the seventies as well as other French rightness - Pug 204 and 304, Ami 6 and 8 Cits plus DS19's and Renault 4's must have outnumbered cockroaches. Aah, the days when the French built proper cars, a long time ago now.

There's a 15 on Ebay Oz. Ratdat has a spare 15 he was planning on using for spares -he might sell. They'll be out there- just need to sniff them out.How big is the Finders fee?

Firstly, Hi all, some of you might know me from other forums.I know where there are at least 2 R17s, both RHD and both requiring loads of work but as far as I remember complete. think there are a couple of 15s there too in the same state. They are in a scrap yard near to me in Wrexham. Give David Kelly car dismantlers a call and try to speak with Dave, he is well into all things Renault and Jag.Cheers, Shaun :D

^ Very true! David Kelly cars is a very worthwhile trip if you need R12 / 15 / 17 bits. Not been for a few years but it was a proper old style scrapyard. They also had a Dacia Denem which makes it virtually unique in the UK :D

If she was giving you the eye, surely that would mean you were in there?! So I'm sure you could have got her number if you'd have asked for it!

I went to David Kelly's back in 2003 and saw some excellent stuff... Fiat 125, Wartburg Knight, Simcas, Mayflowers, and of course that glorious Denem among lots of 12/16s, and a whole load of ancient Jags... Marvellous.

 No those days of me getting the eye are sadly over, more chins than a chinese address book!

What I was trying to say was she was giving me the eye as if to say "buy it or f$ck off cheap skate"

Looks like our friend Renomad is on the case though so don't worry

Q: Hi there, Was this car owned by a man in Wales called MR.HOFAZ (OR SOMETHING LIKE THAT)?Was ADVERTISED IN RENAULT CLASSIC CAR CLUB. I am in Ireland and I am very interested,as I have a 15,16 18 also. 05-Sep-08

A: Hi there John, yes this was Omar Hofayz R17 he sold when he was moving abroad and it was in the Club magazine. I drove it back from south wales and knew then it was something special. I am so glad you are interested as I want her to go to a Renault collector and not be modded or pimped I think they call it. Also I am not far from the ferry at Fleetwood to get her back to Ireland.Regards Tony

I'm tempted myself as it looks fantastic!

I dont think that I shall be able to afford it at the moment I'm afraid. She who shall remain nameless MADE me change her car about 3 weeks ago which made a rather large hole in the Renocoffers :( .Also I'm off Beaulieu next weekend, though If I cancel Beaulieu and burn her new car,I just might be able.
