Austin Metro with JanSpeed Turbo conversion

Hi all,

 

does anyone know, or seen/heard about a JanSpeed Turbo Metro ?

 

I am trying to find out if any survived ?

Hi,

 

Some of the Tickfords were tuned, but not with JanSpeed,s conversion, it was an inhouse job.

 

Yes there was a thread on Metro owners forum, it was me

 

I have searched for more than 4 years now, and only found the remains of 2 conversions, and 1 engine.

 

One of the conversions, were transfered to another Metro, but that got scrapped aswell.

 

The remains ended on Ebay.

Hi and yes, guilty thats why I am trying to see if any of the Turbo Metro,s JanSpeed made, has survived ?

 

I want to come over for http://www.janspeed.com/ so it would have been nice to see a Metro, with a JS Turbo conversion.

 

By the looks of it, I might never find one ? I have searched high & low, in the 4 years I had a computer.

I send letters to several British car mags, but not one Metro has surfaced

Ask the Metro owners club. If they don't know then I doubt anyone does.
