Some of the shots seem familiar, but I think I must have had a slightly later one with the 800 in it rather than the SD1. Good memory prompter though! Thanks!

I had a later one too with the 800 in it instead of the SD1 (1987 I think?). It had the facelifted Maestro and Montego with their 2 tone paintwork and little cartoony/pop art pictures with the Metro (to try and sex it up like a Nu Labour dodgy dossier).

Quality! I remember having that one too, from the Ulster Motor Show of 1986. A few weeks later my Dad later bought the actual Maestro L that had been at the show (IXI 3542). Austin Rover had been a bit naughty, as the stereo in the car was the one from an HLS.
