Wanted flat bed trailer 10x5/6 or 12 x 5/6ft

Says it all - time for a towbar on the motorhome and time for a trailer to go behind it!

seven will be a 6ft bed - I'd prefer a 5ft but it is dependent on price.

After a trailer that'll carry the smart roadster, schmitt or Fiat 126 - and at a push the Punto, so needs to be braked and capable of carrying at least the 850kg of the smart. All would fit on a 10ft bed - especially after seeing lankytim's Maxi on a 10ft bed!

Any photos and a price/location.

I'd need to buy a welder then and lots of angle iron and wood if I did that!

The trailer I used with the Maxi is based on old caravan components, hitch, axles e.t.c. The chassis is made from sections of U section ally caravan chassis sections welded together to create a bespoke structure.

nope shes 7ft wide bed as its an indespension flat bed trailer with wheels underneath, new brakes and cables alround at quite a cost or it would have been cheep.

it would shrug of an 850kg load as its a 3 tonner, mabe a bit to big for what your after then but incase your still interested its £650ono in Scottish borders.

can get pics over the weekend as its in the yard with some dexian racking still loaded up for scrap run.

yes, I'd like pics - will be in Scotland in April/May time too if I want it and storage isn't an issue. Let me know if it is an 11ft bed or a ten foot. Is it a full flat bed or does it have sides. Oh, and a normal ball tow hitch? And does it have ramps?

The Motorhome has a 6.6 tonne mgw so gives me fully two tonnes when laden to the limit (realistically a 2.5 tonne payload). And, of course, the weapon of choice - the XM, has a towbar too.

something like that but that's too wee to take all the cars - and I'd rather have something that'll take up to the punto comfortably and I doubt one of the smart trailers would take a smart roadster! I could ask Brian James if it would as they're quite active on the smart scene.

As an aside I have seen a Pandora running round Gloucester recently.

Quick non scientific look and the XM has a sub 11ft wheelbase.

oh, and I had forgotten about this thread - have to make up the folding 8x4 flat bed trailer I got from a certain Pug owner on this very forum.
