FS: 1995 Vauxhall Cavalier

Think the time has come for my slightly less old Cavalier and I to part company...

 

1995 Cavalier 1.8i Classic, saved from scrap by Garbaldy earlier this year. Showing about 140k-ish, no service history, three (I think) previous owners, timing belt done about 1500 miles ago, 6 or 7 months MOT on it, taxed until the end of February. Recent tyres on Vauxhall 15in alloys, nearside wishbone replaced, offside will come with car (not rattling yet but it's probably a matter of time).

 

Good points: Pretty straight, good tyres, (almost) everything works, tax and test, doesn't run too badly, rear arches are only in the earliest stages of decay.

Bad points: Heater motor doesn't work (forced roasting hot air at speed so nice clear windows if you're doing 60-ish), last owned by a chimney sweep so not the cleanest inside but it's scrubbed up not too badly to be honest. Spare tyre bald as a coot. Can't remember where I've put one of the alloy centre caps but I suspect it's probably in the garage somewhere. Driver's door lock punched in but central locking still works from that door. A few scuffs and scrapes but no major dents or scores.

 

Not sure what it's worth in real terms... £300 or so? Don't really want to get rid but the money I got from my employment tribunal is running out quite a bit quicker than I anticipated due to part time work and Christmas. Interior pics to follow if there is any interest...

We do indeed but I should have one coming in the next few weeks. Sod's law says I haven't got enough to buy one let alone two
