When I was a BREAD VANLAD we had one AUSTIN FG,brilliant driving position,you could wedge the doors open in the summer, AIR -CON? not needed.  

FATHA_SPORTY was a bread man in the Bedford FG era. You didn't work in the north-west, did you? There's a fair chance you could have known him!!

As often is the case the background detail can be more interesting than the subject. This is the case with this picture, for me anyway. The transporter in the distance with what look like Renault 16, Fiat 128 saloon and Fiat 128 3P on the top deck. Can't tell what the van/minibus is underneath, nor the lovely old pre-war looking thing with full wheel disc covers...Rolls-Royce???
