Ummmm

Bugger - I hadnt got one prepared :?

OK, in the 1990's tat fest of weird and wonderful vehicles that was BBC TV's Bugs - what was the first car that Ros Henderson has which was subsequently destroyed and replaced with a string of Yellow Cabrios?

I want exact make, type and year of registration for this one please.

I have a feeling it was a J plate Peugeot 205 GTi, but I could be completely wrong.

Very very close.... I mean incredibly close....

Ah, shit, you can have it -

In the program its a K plate 1.6 GTI, but in reality it was a J reg 1.6GTi - in the TV series the number plates on the cars were swapped with plates from production team cars ( the K plate used on the 205 belonged to the lighting directors Sierra) - F'rinstance Jessie Birdsalls Jeep (17 LPJ) was in fact on a van used by the camera crew and still exists on a Transit to this day....

It certainly was. When I was checking (I did know but I wanted to make sure) I discovered that there's a 2011 remake. :(

Bloody remakes, why can't they leave things alone :x

Anyway, should be an easy one this;

in the mid 90's Imogen Stubbs played Anna Lee, an ex cop turned PI (now theres a novelty)

What type of car did the character drive?

Indeed. Fitted with a Ford crossflow and autobox 'cos the lovely Imogen can't drive a manual.

Sorry if that was too easy, should point out that in the pilot episode the car looked quite distressed, apparently to reflect the characters free wheeling lifestyle (it also broke down on her way to her first day in a new job) but, for the series proper the car gained a more restored look in blue iirc.

Total guess: Rover 75?

No we are looking at a 1960's release that carried on untill the mid 70's. It has a Rover trait though

Shep's got it h.g.f being the Rover trait

My turn:

What was name given to the first Volvo car built in 1927?

Correct! :D

I'd really like to drive him - or one of his brethren - one day :)

Hmm, now I've got to come up with one... bugger.

Which TV action hero drove a blue TR7?

Thanks Eddy, can't really do a question about white Dolomite Sprints driven by Lewis Collins now.

Right, as far as I can remeber, Rogueish antiques dealer Lovejoy owned 3 different vehicles during his sunday night adventures; can you name them please, make, model and colour of each required, Eric's motorbike and sidecar/ Lady Jane's Range Rover and Charlotte Cavendish's (I think) XJS convertible DO NOT COUNT, only vehicles owned by his Mcshaneness qualify.
