A good friend of mine has decided to sell his prize and joy (well it was 11 years ago). Wondering if anyone can backup my price hunch for a quick sale and hopefully bring him back to reality as I think he has inflated ideas to it's worth...

1994 "L" BMW 325i Coupe

Black

120K Miles (part service history, always serviced every 10k miles though)

Full Silver Leather

CD Player

MOT'd June 2012

No Tax

16" Later 328 Alloys

Lowered Suspension (the only mod and he did this by accident rather than intention)

Mechanically it's spot on, still goes really well - never misses a beat.

Just had a fair bit of welding for the last MOT (sills). It has rust around the rear arches (think this is common) and lower edge of the tailgate. So body wise is no minter by any means,

Sorry no pics yet.

I think it's worth £500 snots? Advertise it for £550 ono

How can you accidentally lower your suspension!?

 It's a long story but he wanted standard new suspension and the garage thought he said lowered  It was a cheap job as a favour so he just carried on with it. It's not too OMG LOW! to be fair.

Pretty hard to say but as newer model (E46) prices are still about a grand upwards for a high mileage/rougher one I'd see this at potentially about £750 if it's tidy.

At that age it's condition that's way more important than the year and they are great fun to drive. Also the two door is worth about fifteen times more than the four door ones so I'd suggest £500 (or the full asking price) is pretty good really. Oh, when you've done with it stick it on Piston Heads and your 'phone will probably implode from the amount of calls you receive.

I reckon there'd be some kind of scally out there willing to pay high three figures for a six cylinder E36.

Advertise for a grand (which is far too much) and take the best offer you get within 48 hours.
