Fair dos. I tested the BX's town credentials yesterday by driving from Lewisham to Highgate, then Tottenham and back home via The City. So I'm hoping it'll be OK sitting on the S & N circulars for the inevitable 3 hour round trip!

If I leave in 1/2 hr or so I would be there maybe 8:45. Just wondering whether it's worth it or not.

Sorry DNJ, I didn't make it in the end. Despite telling work I had to leave at 4 I didn't get out till gone 5. I started the trip but aborted it after an hour as traffic was horrendous. On reflection SE to NW London in rush hour was probably asking too much!
