I know M. Imp is sick of welding the bloody thing,

Its okay when I get going on it, its just motivating myself to do it. When you have turned a cup sized hole into a 2ft by 6in strip its easy to give up (which I did today). I will hit it all guns firing on Saturday.

I will pop up photos of the work so far when I get a chance to. I have done most of the passenger side but did find a wee bit that I missed, when I was working on it this morning but I don't want to tackle until I have done some holes from the inside as I don't like the look of the metal I am trying to attach it to.

I started digging around on the drivers side floor today and its pretty bad too, if not slightly worse than the passenger side. However I would be aiming to have it all done over this weekend.

It looks fucking hot though.

It's a shame it's so bad although it's not surprising, are you still glad you bought it? It does look great from the outside.

Sorry Messrs H.Imp and V.Olksy, just seen this/found by accident.

Glad you've cracked on and appreciate it was worth doing with all the history and money spent previous.

Can't see pics as a work at mo so will look later.

Be interesting to see what the MOT missed........

I don't think the MOT tester missed much, as it was only when we ground back the underseal and visble rust we found the mess that lurked underneath. Having done some research, the cracks on the wheel arches are indicative of subframe mounts failing as the shell starts flexing once these fail. The worst section is the OSF rear subframe mount, which is pretty none existant, but again only became apparent when we started to repair the inner sill. A repair section is available from Omnicron so once we both have some time we can start to look into repairing it.

Ours is not dis-similar to this one - http://www.westernlancia.co.uk/lanciafulviazagb.html

The car deserves to be done properly, rather than being bodged - which would have been quite easy to do. The weather hasn't helped progress, plus we've both been working all hours so not had the opportunity to get on with it. Hopefully lighter evenings and a new job that means I'm only working every other weekend will help progress. Going to try and take some photos in the next week or so to post up.
