The original seller has his money from you and I assume doesn't give a toss now. Why would he bother going to the hassle and expense of getting it back off you? Sell it for spares and make some extra.

Nice looking car.Those later Avengers with the horizontal lights really look very Marina-ish from the rear three quarter view.

That's not a complete loss.......at the end of the piece about the Mehari, he says it was named after a precious race of Saharan camels which became extinct as soon as it found out..... Side-splitting Italian humour!

That one really riles me! Why do people say that?....is it Del Boy's fault?I always blamed that one on Jasper Carrott in the 80s.I hate 'Beemer' for BMW. It's just SO Mike Brewer.....

I bought a Kia Picanto a couple of months ago for my daily commute (40 mile round trip). Wanted something to do a job reliably, economically and that I wouldn't be precious about.Very pleased so far. Would recommend. As good as anything similar, at much lower price.

Indeed - I also nurture a Kia Picanto. I like to think of it as a modern day Datsun Cherry 100A.

Long time lurker here, but fellow 2CVers have encouraged me to join in! (Hi Louise & Ian; 'tis I, of Captain Black fame....). Thought Louise might like a pic I've unearthed of our family transport for most of the '70s, taken somewhere in Wales. Yes, it was just as brown inside!
