UmBongo
A nice Nova on Bullseye. And what else but a caravan, to be sold immediately by the two lads who won it, of course. Or a speed boat for the two residents of a Birmingham tower block? oldcars and Banger Kenny

overrun
I think rules meant that prizes couldn't be too expensive, hence all the Minis and Metros. By the nineties, that was over so they could give away larger cars but almost always from Future Shite brands like Daewoo (as mentioned), Seat, Kia etc. Bruce Forsythe gave away some random stuff on "The Price is Right", I remember a few kit cars on the late 90s early 00s episodes. Had a quick look and found this Ferrari* on one. MR2 based by the dash, I'd suppose: The every day Ferrari.
Eddie Honda
(Clocked this channel hopping today, so hit the record button to screen grab later) Steve Hamilton said: "...or you might like to steer your way to chose the fabulous Nova 1.2 four door saloon in metallic grey..." The recording overran into the another episode, but this time the hair dos were different and the jackpot £5000. Having no end titles to check the date, fat bloke down the internet told me that it must have been 1993. I found the folder which had a few other snapshots in: Bullseye weren't the only ones dishing out caravans. Here's The Price Is Right What is this car that dolly dealers Vicki Brattle and Sophie Allisstone are posing with? mercrocker, UmBongo and Fat_Pirate

mercrocker
Un-verified Jim Bowen quote- "And what do you do for a job in Derby, Mike?" Contestant - "Well, I am afraid I have been out of work for a year or so, now Jim" "Oh right, that's super, Smashing. Great...." UmBongo
..and the infamous murderer on Bullseye episode? Funnily enough I've never seen this one on Challenge TV.
ProgRocker
I switched over to Challenge TV earlier this afternoon and caught the end of 'Wheel of Fortune' from the late 1980s, presented by a young and well coiffured Nicky Campbell. One of the star prizes was a Metro City in primrose yellow. The voiceover guy said it was an 'Austin Rover Metro' but I think Austin Rover was officially dropped by then. Wheel Of Misfortune offered some great cars. Metros, Pandas, Novas, Renault 5s, Kia Prides, Suzuki Santanas... ProgRocker
