1969 Austin Maxi on the MOC site

Just a heads up just in case anyone here is interested in a early (presumably cable change) Maxi.

I enquired about this earlier thinking it was probably a later one, the seller hasn't left any clues on the advert. However it turns out that it is a 1969 model and is blue, it is in the London area. I may go and look at it if it is still there in a month but I think if it is an early it is probably worth a decent amount and I don't like the early ones as much.

The seller doesn't know much about it, it was his Grandfathers and has been in a garage since 1996, he is going to find out the mileage for it. To be honest I would have thought that being an early one would make it more valuable (I suggested he put the year on the advert).

Austin Maxi 1500:

I have been left an austin maxi 1500 by my late grandfather. which was garaged since 1996 and has not moved since I have all the paper work for the car and it has only 1 owner from new. I have had a few interests in restoring the car but I don't think there is much that needs doing to it as the weather has not got to it. Sorry I don't have any pictures of the car as it is not at my place as yet. Open to offers
