Renault 20 anybody?

Tell you what, I've been more than happy buying and riding 2-wheelers in the recent past & just keeping a sheddy old van to cart projects around in. But that is so epically, fantastically great that I wish circumstances would allow me to own it.

I'm sure there'll be no shortage of good homes forthcoming for something that nice. 8)

Anybody wishing to bid needs to get their finger out sharpish as it finishes Saturday morning and registration takes a few days. They had a tidy looking 205 cabriolet on the other week I went and viewed that and then didn't bid like a c*ck and it went for £300 was washed and then straight onto Ebay where it did £460

You have room to talk about a Renault-hoarding mate??????:mrgreen::mrgreen:

I want that R20, but better still someone on here should buy it.

Bro' had one in a aubergine type colour about 18 years ago, and was THE most comfy car I've ever been in, still is.

Was it Monotrac seats or something?

Whatever, I'll be thinking about that next time I get across the old woman. It'll make it a shorter experience.

I'm sure there's a brown one lurking in a Paphos garden. I'll try and get a snap when the trees have lost their foliage and I can see in a bit better.

I was going to register to put in a bid but it sounds like a bit of a "ball-ache" having to send proof of ID. Probably best as I really don't have the money or the room but how often does a Renner 20 come up for sale?

I might go and have a look at it first thing Saturday morning, can't afford it, not allowed it, nowhere to keep it, but need to satisfy my curiosity. :?

Combination of the seats and what we used to call 'suspension' before every family saloon had to be capable of an 8.18 lap of the Nurburwankerring by law, and had 20 profile tyres and concrete dampers as a result.

I loved the old 20TS I drove now and again as a courtesy shitter at a Garage I worked at as a nipper. It was 6 years old and was decomposing nicely, but it was like driving a sofa. And they are such a great looking car - lovely proportions and detailing, and I far prefer the oblong lamped 20 to the 30 with the four round headlights.

Went for £300, bargain? :?

Really? How good is that? Might have to have a look at that site in more detail.
