NEW PRICE: Shite Beemer (Shropshire) £750 ONO

Please note that this vehicle is nothing to do with me. Any interest, drop me a line and I'll pass questions, etc on.

 

Here's the information I've been given:

 

2000 BMW 318i SE Touring - good condition, runs/drives well.

 

• Mileage is approx 157K (I can check the specific figure if required)

 

• MOT is February 25th 2012

 

• Tax until end of August 2011.

 

• 6 CD Multichanger in boot.

Few scuffs/marks/rust spots here and there but nothing shocking:

 

Passenger Front Sill:

Tailgate:

 

 

NB. There is a slight crease across the tailgate which can be seen in the above image - PO obviously backed into something (or vice versa).

 

 

Work recently carried out:

 

• Front spring replacement

• 2 discs and their pads replaced

• Handbrake

• New ECU fitted (old one included in sale - 2 relays need replacement)

• Windscreen washer

• 2 new tyres

• New water pump fitted

 

 

 

Known issues:

 

• ECU light is on (the mechanic who replaced the ECU said that it was because the replacement is not coded to car)

• 2 back lights shown as out on the dash - although they both work!

• Slight water leak - needs topping up every now and then (separate issue to water pump replacement –the mechanic who carried out the work said it’s an elbow/junction – I’m not sure where though)

• Rattle from underneath when cold at idle - garage suggested baffles in exhaust

Rattling exhaust *might* be the stupid bloody clamp about level with underneath the front seats. Can be fixed if you have eleven hours to spare or just throw the bastard away.

Still a bit salty for me with the problems mentioned but of interest where about in Shropshire is it please?
