On a train alas. Fair pay I'm told and the bonus of the (surely EU illegal?) week on week off shift pattern. Bear in mind the amount of shit (human and otherwise) you will be brushing against under these things. I'm almost tempted to go back to what I trained to be, If onlyit wasn't stuck 2 minutes off gypsy corner. Saying that you would probally get an ATOC travel pass and all the benefits (that you don't get on fuggin Network Rail).

it does sound illegal to me...and WTF is the "North Pole Depot"? Must be pretty chilly up there.

North pole (was/is) the old Eurostar depot before it went to Temple mills in Stratford. Sitting dormant now, it was the full monty totally self sufficient, had a drive on wheel lathe, electrical control room, canteen with chef not cook, etc. Used to be a full mirror on stick job just getting your van in there, they wouldn't even let the fire brigade in when ladbroke grove happened....
