Haven't seen this on eBay tat and thought it deserved it's own thread; Just spotted on the Auto Trader, for sale at what looks to be quite a large dealers up in Blackburn.

Yes, I saw that on there the other day. I haven't seen a Samara for years so thought it quite a worthwhile buy.

 

You do get the odd little gem on Autotrader. There was a mint 24,000 mile one owner Horizon on there recently.

That Favorit is a bit of alright too. I wouldn't mind rolling that myself. Someone a few streets away from where I used to live had one in that colour. I liked it. An old boy next to him had an early G plate one in that fetching medium beige. Not seen a Favorit of any age in the metal for some time now. One thing always irritated me about them through – the funny-flashing indicators on them.

That's a point actually - I don't think I've ever seen a Favorit with indicators that flashed with any kind of regularity. Probably due to cheap mechanical Commie flasher units - my Estelle is the same.

I somehow doubt that the "full service history" will include 17 annual services, i.e. one every thousand miles on average.

It has been re-listed a few times. I can't help thinking that 12 hunnert is a bit salty for one of these, it really ought to be a minter to be worth that. And they'll struggle to find the right man for it. I paid 150 for mine, though it still needs some fettleing.

 

This one's a 1300E, "How many left" says none on the road since 2006, and then only one!

Mine is a 1500GL, now one of seven showing.

Sadly MrB, I've not had time to show it much love yet, snowed under with work. I've taken it down the road a few times to keep it loose, and washed a huge pile of bird crap off the bonnet, otherwise no progress. I'll keep you all in the loop as things progress!
