Hi all,

Anybody with a long enough memory will remember me debating wether or not I should buy my Mates dads old Focus, well I have decided against it as i'm happy to stick with my cheap and cheerful Audi. Either way, he still needs the Focus to go as he has now got himself a new motor!

Do any shiters want a bite of the cherry? Its a "facelift" 51 reg model with the indicators in the headlights, Its done approx 114k, its in silver and its a 1.6 5 door hatch. The passenger doors at the bottom weirdly have a bit of grot but the rest of the bodywork and interior looks pretty mint.

Heres the catch, its an ex driving school car. The dual controls have been removed but I think my mates Dad still has em in his garage, theres also a sticky plastic square on the roof that presumably was put there to protect the paint from damage when the driving school triangle thing was on there, looking at it though i'm pretty sure a kettle of hot water and a good polish should see it permanently removed.

The car was recently MOT'd and had a pair of new tyres (probably budget ones) Its got nice factory alloys too!

Not sure abut any tax, assume there isn't any on it but if its got 6 months rent then consider it a bonus!

Price is £650, but I think he could be haggled a bit, not too much though as its still a smart motor and worth a bit more!

Anybody interested PM me for my mates number, the car is in South Birmingham, (Solihull really), not far from Birmingham airport.

NO FREAKS, WEIRDOS OR TIMEWASTERS.

That shouldn't hang around for long. Minimum price for a non smashed up or 'found on driveway dead' Focus seems to be a grand, unless its a 2.0 automatic saloon in sparkly beige or something.

That sounds like a bit of a bargain really, Do you have any photos, as for the tax, try on here and see what comes up. http://www.taxdisc.direct.gov.uk/EvlPortalApp/

I'm still looking for a car for Mrs Trigger to use as she doesn't like the Mk3, This could be ideal but i can't be arsed to drive to Birmingham for a Focus.

Grrr! Why do all the cheap and decent motors come up when I have no moolah? That would have been OMG IDEEL for my other half to learn to drive in :( he's not after a lovely little '97 306 LX DT is he by any chance? better than his new car - I can guarantee it*

*Probably not but I can only try....

No, he wont want a 97 pug as he's now driving about in a brand new one! (He works for Peugeot, of course)

I don't have any pics, and I don't even know what the numberplate is, sorry!

Bargain. One of my good friends at work has just bought a '52 1.8TD Di Zetec with 147k on the clock for £850. MOT due next month and initial inspection on the ramp at work shows it needs front anti roll bar links and a CV boot for another 12 months ticket. Great cars :D
