Good find...

London 41 years ago ( is it really that long) . Biggest change I noticed ( apart from Leicester Sq being 2-way) was how few non British cars/vans/lorries were out there.

I only saw the odd 2cv, Simca 1500, Fiat 500 - about 6 in total.

Oh and the only headscarves in Oxford street were there to cover up the hair rollers.

That was an enjoyable way to spend 20 minutes on a rainy afternoon!!

I think I spotted 4 Yank cars aswell!

Imagine going down a road today and a Farina estate and Sunbeam Stiletto pulling out of a side road in front of you! Bliss!!

nothings changed except bus lanes, bike lanes, red zones, and about 10,000 more cars fighting for road space :D

Y'know what? I can't wait to see what car you buy. I'm really looking forward to it because it's bound to be madder than a box of frogs and quite probably a one off, built in a shed in Macclesfield in 1953 by a blind man called Sid from old JAP powered Unicycles and a foam chassis or something.

I have a long-standing bet (12 years and counting!) with my Aunt that my first car will have three wheels, a glassfibre body and a Reliant badge! We'll see if that works out as planned, although a crisp tenner seems less enticing than it did when I was 13...
