On Sunday i went to a local car show for local people in Little Clacton which is near big Clacton in Essex, I wasn't expecting much was us left suprised by the amount of Class A tat there, Here is my photos, Enjoy. This Renault 15 could have been my car of the show, it was mint, It only had 50k on the clock and even it's dealer sticker in the back window, Fred Winter of Darlington, Check out the 70's interior man!.

This was for sale for Ã‚Â£1850 which seemed fair but it was a bit grotty, One of the least desirable 60's/70's Fords IMHO.

I've posted photos of this before, It most be one of the very last Marinas made, When i posted my last photos of it on Flickr the owner sent me this message.

Hi all, I am the owner of the above car. The story i have is that it was ordered by a chap who was setting up a business in Portugal. After a few years his wife left him and he sold up and came home. Myself i do not think this is true. The log book shows continuous ownership in England. My theory is that it was a "Press car". Built to either have photos taken or to show at a Trade show on the continent. There are many strange features on it such as no front or rear anti-roll bars which would have been a standard fitment on a Marina of its age. There are also some Ital parts and panels on it, i.e. inner wing flitch panels also from the Ital. The other possible is that as the Ital was just about to go into production they used up parts left over. I have spoken to someone that owned a similar car with a Registration not far off and his car was also LHD but had a load of RHD parts on it such as the carpet set which had the built in plastic foot mat on the RH side, he dumped it in the scrap yard as it was always breaking down. The other interesting point is that BL were the first registered owners. If anyone can shed light on it please contact me. TA.

Trig, you're a legend. Cortina looks bloody mint, wrong front indicators I think but what the hell, it's lovely. LOL @ the 'Poo' number plate on the Farina by the way.

Oh and A35 shot makes me wonder if there's actually any out there that aren't at least 65% plod, 20% newspaper and 15% metal!

I'm really miffed at totally forgetting to attend.

Still, we bought some lovely lexar beakers at Homestead camping and leisure in Weeley, which was nice.

Some col stuff there - Alfa Giulietta for me but with proper plates on though

I've actually driven that Renner 15 and it's really nice. It was completely the opposite of what I was expecting - in a good way. Awesomes!

Coo! There's some nice stuff there. I do like those MK1V Zodiacs...that ones a grotty colour, mind. That Marina is a right oddity isn't it....I thought I'd only ever seen those late ones on a T or V reg.
