outlaw118 Posted May 15, 2011 Posted May 15, 2011 Paging Dollywobbler....it's in Wales, so therefore, it's close....
dollywobbler Posted May 15, 2011 Posted May 15, 2011 Tempting...but no. I can imagine it turning into an expensive nightmare.
scooters Posted May 16, 2011 Author Posted May 16, 2011 Tempting...but no. I can imagine it turning into an expensive nightmare. I doubt it very much... The club had a large parts store and access to new parts from Serbia. All so cheap you would choke. The steel was of excellent quality so rust is rare. Insurance.....I've been quoted 96.00 for on street in a dodgey area. Fully comp. The only thing steep is the asking price.
Guest Posted May 16, 2011 Posted May 16, 2011 Has it been saved yet? Is it in a condition where it could be driven away?
Cavcraft Posted May 16, 2011 Posted May 16, 2011 One hour on the train and about the same back driving. Very tempting but I think the finances sadly rule it out. Assuming it's taxed and tested I can get it back to Chester and store in my lock up if anyone wants it and can't get there quickly enough.
scooters Posted May 16, 2011 Author Posted May 16, 2011 that's al the info I have, I assume at that price it will be t&t, if you want to know more give him a ring
Guest Posted May 16, 2011 Posted May 16, 2011 Hmmm, I am kind of tempted but and I do appreciate I may be considered slightly anal about this but I really like the convertible they did for the american market The one they did for the UK I don't really like so much and I understand the one available is one of the top hat conversions as below However the last us one I saw for sale was 9800 usd plus all the fees getting it back to blighty compared to £375 You pays your money you takes your choice and all that although I'm not suggesting for one minute I'm prepared to spend nearly 10 thousand bucks on a Yugo
